The Pier


The Pier is the central feature of St. Petersburg’s two-mile downtown waterfront.

Known for its unusual inverted pyramid shape, the Pier features a full line of shops, adventures and food -- enough activities for an entire day.

Admission: No charge.

Hours of Operation: The Pier is open daily 30 minutes before sunrise and closes at 11:00 pm.

Directions: From I-275 take exit 10 (The Pier) to Beach Drive. Turn right (south) and go to Second Avenue NE. Turn left (east) onto the Pier approach. Valet parking is available.

Tours: Tour buses welcome.

Gift Shops: Pier Aquarium Gift Shop, Pier Baitshop, Country Goose, Crystal Mirage, Flag ’N’ Kite Shop, Americana, DD Collectibles, Lori Jane Casuals, Just Hats, M.J. Toons, Pier Trading Co., Rain Forest, ’Round the World, The Hide Out, Gray Jewelers and Sun Watchers.

Food: Nick’s Italian & Seafood Restaurant, Cha Cha Coconuts, Tropical Bar & Grille, Columbia Restaurant, Burgers by the Bay, Candies ’N’ Cones, Just Fudge 'N' and Alessi Bakery and Deli.
